Y12SR – Leadership Training The Yoga of 12-Step Recover with Nikki Myers.  This training is designed for yoga teachers wanting to work with the recovery population.  It is also found to be extremely relevant and helpful for therapists, counselors, social workers, probation officers and others with a desire to understand how the ancient philosophies and practices of yoga align with the 12-step program of recovery.  .

Chair Yoga can be fun and challenging. Chair Yoga offers an alternative to mat yoga that can be just as challenging. Let’s face it, not everyone feels comfortable sitting on the floor. That alone can make yoga inaccessible. However, many postures that are done sitting on the floor can also be done sitting in a chair with better alignment, less pain and discomfort.

Yogi Ananda Satyam holds degrees in Philosophy and Religious Studies and was a student of Gurani Anjali, the founder of Yoga Anand Ashram. He was the Spiritual Director of the Ashram. Satyam has been practicing yoga for over 31 years, and has been teaching yoga, pranyama and meditation for over 20 years.
